Add an Extra Layer of Protection When Driving with Ford's BLIS

No one should have to worry when driving the streets of Idabel, but accidents do happen. To alleviate some of that worry, Ford offers the Blind Spot Information System to help drivers when changing lanes or backing up.

What this system does is detect when vehicles are approaching on adjacent traffic lanes. It then warns drivers by activating lights on the side view mirrors when they are within ten feet of the bumper. This warning alerts drivers that they are about to enter that lane in a hazardous manner.

The system also comes with the Cross Traffic Alert that detects approaching vehicles within 45 feet of the vehicle when the vehicle is put in reverse, which another reason BLIS is well worth including in your vehicle purchase package because it adds another layer of protection to your already safe driving habits.
